Reading procedure parameter settings from *.par file
You can open older procedure parameters files in the *.par format. Decide whether to read only the procedure sequence or just the general settings or both items.
1. Open the procedure sequence.
2. On the toolbar, click the Open 'Procedure sequence' window symbol.
The Open: Procedure parameters window opens.
3. Select the file you want to open.
4. Click the Open button.
The Read procedure parameters window opens.
5. Select the desired options.

If this option is selected, the procedure sequence is read in. Replace the procedure sequence If the option is selected, the new procedure sequence replaces the existing procedure sequence. Replace existing procedures in the same position, add others If the option is selected, existing procedures will be replaced at the same position in the sequence, others will be inserted additionally. Insert as new procedures after position If this option is selected, the procedure sequence will be inserted behind the selected position in the sequence. |
General procedure settings |
If the option has been selected, all general procedure settings are read in. Reset general procedure settings prior to reading If this option is selected, all values are reset to their default values before the settings are read in. If the option is not selected, the settings are read in additively. |
Procedure variables |
If the option has been selected, all procedure variables contained in the file are read in. |
6. Confirm with OK.
According to your settings, the procedure parameters are read from file.
Tip: Alternatively, in the General procedure settings window, click the Open button to open a procedure parameter file. |
